In the centre of Verona next to the Arena, the prime position of the three apartments of Loft 17 gives them their unique character. They are just a short distance away from the city’s main points of interest, like the Arena and Piazza Bra, famous restaurants and exclusive boutiques.
There is a furnished terrace on the top floor of the apartment building which offers one of the best views of the Arena.
Access to the three loft apartments, one per floor, is via the private entrance in Vicolo Tre Marchetti. Each apartment is spacious and light, boasting refined, contemporary décor and elegant furnishings. They each have a kitchen equipped with modern domestic appliances, including a Nespresso coffee machine and dishwasher.
Loft 1, with its large double bedroom, can host two people, while Lofts 2 and 3 can host up to four guests as each has a double bedroom and another bedroom with bunk beds.
Each apartment has wooden ceilings with exposed beams, low-noise locks, stone floors, air conditioning and underfloor heating.
The building has no lift but there is a wide internal staircase.
Smoking is forbidden in the bedrooms and communal areas.
Pets are not allowed.
Inside the building several textiles from the Venturi Tappeti d’Arte Collection are kept, from the Caucasus, Persia and Asia Minor. They are mostly multi-coloured kilims. Their design is described in the book “Tribal Rugs” by James Opie. It is a compositional scheme relying on an archaic representation of an ascending motif similar to the tree of life surrounded by ancestral zoomorphic motifs. The striking modular representation takes on a deep meaning which evokes the various levels reached by the soul of the deceased during his transmigration beyond this life.
